To shift the centre of gravity for growth and opportunity to the rest of the UK, we recommend that the government
- create enterprise and opportunity hubs across the UK
- embed universities in new development initiatives

The University of Liverpool set up the first specialist maths school in the North of England.
For the students that get the A levels that we offer and then proceed to degrees in these areas, the employment opportunities are really huge.
