We bring together vice-chancellors from across the UK to discuss strategic issues and the challenges their institutions are facing.
Members’ meetings
We hold three Members’ Meetings a year (February, May and December). These are an opportunity for all vice-chancellors to come together to discuss strategic political and policy issues affecting universities across the UK with inputs from ministers, politicians, policy commentators and a range of other experts.
The Members’ Meetings are also an important opportunity for networking and to feed into UUK’s work through roundtable discussions.
Annual conference
Our annual conference is a chance for all our members to come together for two days. We provide talks by experts, leaders and politicians, and provide discussion groups and a chance to network.
The conference focusses on current strategic issues that universities across the UK are facing – from funding to demonstrating the value of universities.
The first day of the conference is attended only by vice-chancellors. The second day is open to their senior leader teams.
