Managing risks in international research and innovation

We've created this guidance jointly with the National Protective Security Authority (formerly the Centre for Protection of National Infrastructure) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), outlining how universities can implement existing guidance to manage security risks in their international research and innovation.

The guidance:

• summarises three major pieces of guidance produced by UUK, NPSA, and UKRI 
• outlines the different security threats faced by universities
• suggests what steps universities should take in order to implement the aforementioned guidance
• presents case studies from universities on their experiences with managing security-related risks
