The UK is now associated to Horizon Europe, the world’s largest multinational research and innovation funding programme. As we look ahead to the next Framework Programme (FP10), we want to play a constructive role in helping to shape the successor programme so that it maximises its huge potential – ensuring that European research and innovation remains at the very forefront of global developments. We welcome the government's recent position paper on the new framework. In our own position paper, we outline our vision for FP10, recommending that FP10 should be based on the following five core principles.
