Universities UK International (UUKi) will launch a researcher mobility scheme to support UK-France research and innovation partnerships in November 2026.
The scheme is available to Universities UK member institutions and UUKi subscribers to support the development of existing, recently established or dormant partnerships between the UK and France. This programme is funded through the UK Government’s International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF).
Projects should be closely aligned with Horizon Europe 2027 calls and/or other international collaborative funding programmes.
Mobility funding will be available for UK institutions to visit a French partner for one to eight months. Additional support funding will be available to use towards the development of proposals.
Priority will be given to projects with a particular focus on health and/or artificial intelligence, as defined by the two countries during the UK-France bilateral research dialogue in May 2026.
The call will open in November 2026 and close in January 2027, and projects should be ready to undertake mobilities between April and December 2027.
Further information will be available on this page when the application window launches in November 2026. Follow UUKi on LinkedIn for updates and the launch announcement.
