Strategic and impactful engagement with India: Advancing Viksit Bharat@2047 through a global campus
The National Education Policy 2020 sets out the vision for India’s Higher Education System, and its focus on new forms of student experience offers many exciting opportunities for UK Universities. Investing in the development of innovative, collaborative, approaches will deliver globally recognised excellence and the highly attractive features of a UK degree alongside the very best elements of the Indian educational system in the socio-economic context of an emerging global powerhouse.
This webinar will focus on the University of Southampton-Oxford International Education Group public-private sector partnership. The panel will detail how to achieve accelerated implementation, enhanced outcomes, mitigated risks and enable high quality developments to the demanding timetable and objectives set by Viksit Bharat@2047.
Essential to this are new operational models that deliver affordable high-quality, market-orientated, research-led courses in world class and specialist facilities, and opportunities for study abroad. Industry placements and professional accreditation are also integral to the offer - to ensure a high-quality student experience leading to premium placement upon graduation with students equipped to be personally and organisationally enterprising.
Particular focus is placed on showing how embedding this into the cultural infrastructure of the region through reach-out and reach-in activities will amplify and extend impact.
