Professor Baldwin is the principal academic and administrative officer of the University of Central Lancashire. He became the Vice-Chancellor in 2019.
Professor Baldwin is a member of a Non-Executive Director of East Lancashire Hospital NHS Trust, Chair of Lancashire Innovation Board and Chair of the Maritime Skills Commission.
Professor Baldwin was previously the Vice-Chancellor of Solent University for five years. During this period, the university recorded its highest ever results for student satisfaction, employability and progression and was awarded TEF Silver.
