Overview
This webinar builds on the launch of our latest Gone International: A New Generation report at the Global Mobility Conference on 24 February. During the conference, we will highlight the key findings and recommendations, drawing on best practices from institutions excelling in student mobility.
In this webinar, we’ll take a closer look at the data and analytics behind the findings, featuring expert commentary from representatives of Jisc, the Northern Consortium, and UUKi, who funded and collaborated on the report. Together, we’ll delve into student mobility trends for graduate cohorts up to 2021-22, exploring its positive impact on academic attainment and postgraduate employment.
While the report highlights the immense value of international exchange, it also raises critical concerns about declining mobility following Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic. This session will consider data-driven solutions, proposing how policy-makers can ensure upcoming generations of students have the same opportunities to reap the benefits of international exchange as their predecessors.
