Overview
UK universities have long articulated the academic, cultural and economic value of international students. This value is now being strongly affirmed by students themselves, both domestic and international, as shown in a recent survey commissioned by Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
The survey also reveals a persistent participation gap: while most international students report positive experiences of university life in the UK, a minority say their full engagement in academic and social life can be constrained by confidence in using English and broader communication factors.
What are universities doing to enable full participation of all students, both domestic and international? This webinar brings together HE decision-makers to discuss some of the Cambridge survey’s insights and explore how universities can best support those learners.
