Sandra Binns

I joined Universities UK in late 2023 and have been working in higher education policy and regulation for over 10 years, mainly in the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), the Office for Fare Access (OFFA) and the Office for Students (OfS) and largely focusing on access and participation policy. 

I completed an online part-time masters degree in Public Policy from University of York in 2016 which continues to inspire me to think about how I can make positive changes to society through supporting higher education.

I love thinking about how to solve policy problems and working with the sector to come up with new ideas.
