As the Member Communications and Events Officer, I facilitate the delivery of key member-focused meetings and support the development of high‑quality content for groups such as the New Vice-Chancellors’ Group and the DVC Network.
My role also includes monitoring membership changes and maintaining accurate information across our CRM and Members Area. While my work centres on supporting members, I also help UUK colleagues deepen their understanding of our member universities, internal programmes and the wider higher education sector through the Monday Morning Meetings programme.
I bring extensive experience from the community and voluntary sector in both the UK and Jamaica, with roles spanning administration, education, training facilitation and project design. During my time living and working in Jamaica, I held leadership positions within several civil society initiatives and organisations, contributing to meaningful community-led change.
Alongside my role within the Strategy, Insight and Member Engagement team at Universities UK, I enjoy collaborating with colleagues across the organisation. I lead the Staff Wellness Network, actively participate in the fundraising committee, and serve as both an EDI Champion and a Mental Health First Aider.
