I'm responsible for leading the delivery of internal communications across UUK and UUKi, ensuring the effective dissemination of information through various channels.
My role also involves supporting EDI activities, coordinating Community Days and contributing to staff training and development programmes.
I have extensive experience in the community and voluntary sector across the UK and Jamaica with roles encompassing administration, education, training facilitation and project design. During my time in Jamaica, I took on a leadership role in several civil society initiatives and organisations, driving impactful change through community engagement.
I enjoy my role at UUK because it enables me to pull together my volunteer and professional experiences in a meaningful way. Collaborating with colleagues (and members) to contribute positively to the organisational culture, creating a more inclusive workplace, is very rewarding.
