I work in a team which engages with different media organisations and publications.
I have worked in communications for approximately four years, most recently working for the Metropolitan Police Service as a media and communications officer. I have also worked within the security and hospitality industries, which helped me immensely in knowing how to engage with the public and build trust. UUK has such an important mission which is to promote this amazing sector. It's a great privilege working with like-minded colleagues in raising awareness of the incredible work done within the sector, while also changing perceptions.
