I’m Deputy Director of Communications and Campaigns at Universities UK, where I help shape the way we tell the story of universities and their impact across the UK.
I have two decades of experience in public service communications and I’m passionate about turning complex issues into clear, compelling narratives that connect with people and influence national debate. Before joining UUK, I spent over a decade at the Local Government Association, where I led major national campaigns on issues ranging from health and social care reform to local government funding, net zero and social inequality.
I’ve always loved communications that is insight-driven, collaborative and purposeful, and that finds the most engaging way to tell the story, whatever the audience. At UUK, that means championing the role of universities as essential to the country’s future prosperity and helping ensure our work reflects both the diversity and the ambition of UK higher education.
