One thing I love about my job is that universities are places where the most difficult questions are asked, where conventional wisdom is challenged, and rigorous methods of inquiry are applied to advance understandings of the problems faced by humanity. It is an enormous privilege to be charged with stewardship of a great institution that is committed to changing lives and transforming the world.
