Professor Andrew Jones was elected to the UUK UK Board as Policy Lead for Research and Innovation on 1 August 2024.
Professor Jones has been Vice-Chancellor of Brunel University of London since 2022; he was previously Deputy President at City, University of London. Professor Jones is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, the Royal Society of Arts and the Academy of Social Sciences. He has previously served on REF Panels in 2014 and 2021.
Professor Jones is a trustee of the Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE) and is on the Board of London Higher.
