Professor Andrew Jones was elected to the UUK UK Board as Policy Lead for Research and Innovation on 1 August 2024.
Professor Jones has been Vice-Chancellor of Brunel University of London since 2022; he was previously Deputy President at City, University of London. Professor Jones is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Royal Society of Arts. He has previously served on REF Panels in 2014 and 2021.
Professor Jones is a trustee of the Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE) and is on the Board of London Higher. He is a former trustee of the Academy of Social Sciences.
