President's speech to UUK annual conference

This year's Universities UK annual conference has taken place at the University of Birmingham. 

The conference brings together vice-chancellors and other senior university leaders, with speakers from across the public, private and third sectors. 

The conference was addressed by Professor Julia Buckingham CBE, President of Universities UK, in her first speech since assuming the role on 1 August. The full transcript is available here.
