​As Chief of Staff, Jo works with Alistair Jarvis and the Senior Team to deliver the vision and mission of UUK.

Jo previously managed Universities UK’s programmes on immigration and universities and counter-terroris​m and is also working with the Universities UK Taskforce to examine violence against women, harassment and hate crime affecting university students.

​​​Before joining Universities UK in 2011, Jo spent three years at the British Medical Association leading on its immigration work and refugee doctors initiative and four years working for the Reed Recruitment Group primarily in international business development. 

​Jo studied Politics and Modern History at the University of Manchester. ​
