Davina Foord is a Policy Researcher at Universities UK, with a specific focus on
immigration issues affecting the recruitment and retention of non-EU students and staff at UK universities. Previous policy areas have including research, graduate employability, promoting universities' role in economic growth and health education and research.
Prior to joining Universities UK, Davina has worked in various policy and parliamentary roles within the European and UK Parliaments, for an aviation lobbying coalition, Freedom to Fly and for a private tutorial college in London.
Davina read Social and Political Studies at the University of Sheffield and went on to complete a Masters in Law at the University of Leeds.
