We have developed a network of campaign partners to share knowledge and best practice in outward student mobility. We are delighted that 99 UK universities have signed up to the campaign and many international partners and ally organisations have pledged their support.

Pre-departure seminar and alumni network

Campus France will use its networks to promote the campaign amongst French institutions. Through a dedicated Campus France London desk, it will inform UK students of opportunities to study in France, summer schools and scholarships. Additionally, it will organise events such as a pre-departure seminar about studying in France and launch a new alumni network for UK students who have spent time in the country.

Thousands of free places on its pre-departure module

Common Purpose is offering all UK university students doing short term outbound mobility programmes the chance to participate on its Cultural Intelligence (CQ) online course and to earn the 'CQ for Global Experiences' micro-credential, at no cost. Participants will develop skills and competencies key to success in the 21st century.

Five widening participation scholarships

CRCC Asia has launched a range of funded scholarships to support those from underrepresented groups to intern and gain valuable work experience in some of the most exciting locations in the world. The scholarship campaign will provide five funded places for students from underrepresented groups to participate in a one-month CRCC Asia international internship programme in either Beijing or Ho Chi Minh City.

Cultural Vistas

Significant discount for UUKi members

Cultural Vistas is a nonprofit international exchange organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Washington, D.C. and Berlin, Germany. As a J-1 Visa sponsor designated by the U.S. Department of State, Cultural Vistas has agreed to offer a significant discount on J-1 Visa program administrative fees for UUKi member universities. The discounted rates are $750 for internship programs lasting up to 3 months, and $800 for programs lasting 3–12 months.

DAAD (London Branch) 

Campaign promotion 

The DAAD is the world's largest funding organisation for the international exchange of students and researchers. As a partner, the DAAD, London branch will use its communication channels, including their social media, website, newsletters, funding brochure, exhibition presence, conferences and other events to promote the Stand Out campaign.

Goethe-Institut in Germany 

UUKi members get 10% off course fees and 25% off examination fees in Germany

The Goethe-Institut is the official cultural institute of Germany, conveying a modern image of Germany through language, culture and information.  

UK students from UUKi member universities can get a 10% discount on intensive German language courses (including intensive German, intensive German + practice and German superintensive) as well as a 25% discount on a subsequent examination fee, using the code: GoInternational_2020. They will also have access to learner and alumni communities online.

Campaign promotion

ISE is the UK's leading independent voice for student employers, bringing together employers, the education sector and supplier partners to provide leadership and support in all aspects of student recruitment and development.

ISE will promote the benefits of study abroad and encourage a greater understanding of the importance of a global mindset to employers and how this can impact how employers, educators and students work together to create international learning experiences.

Three scholarships to Taiwan, Vietnam and Mexico

Pagoda Projects is excited to offer three scholarship places for their award-winning internship programmes in Taipei, Ho Chi Minh City and Mexico City. The scholarships give UK students an opportunity to gain work experience and develop language skills in three incredible destinations, supported throughout by the Pagoda Projects team.

15% discount for comprehensive internship program in Argentina and Uruguay

Puentes provides customized and meaningful internship experiences in Argentina and Uruguay, together with personalized professional development, engaging cultural activities, and constant support before, during, and after the adventure.  Puentes is offering all UK university students a 15% discount on the program fee to help make possible this unique immersion experience.

€4,500 scholarship for study and work in Europe

QS and UUKi have joined forces to launch the Stand Out scholarship for student exchange between UK and EU universities during the calendar year 2019 and 2020. This initiative aims to encourage continued student exchange between the UK and EU and reinforces the benefits of international mobility programmes for university students.

UUKi members get 5% off worldwide student accommodation

Universities can get an exclusive discount of up to 5% on worldwide student accommodation listed on Student.com to help them send more students abroad. In addition, to help students settle-in to their new home away from home, Student.com can provide all services required such as; airport pick-up/drop-off, linen/cooking bundles, plus bespoke requests. Previously, Student.com and UUKi produced a series of campaign videos with student testimonials.

The Intern Group 

Five scholarships to Bangkok in August 2020

Students will be eligible to undertake a 4-week professional internship program in Bangkok in August 2020, receiving a placement in a career field of their choice. Accommodation, professional development workshops, cultural events, transportation, visas, 24/7 support and an international network of students and professionals are included.
