Information note: Participation of Switzerland in Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+

After the Swiss referendum on immigration, negotiations on Swiss association to EU programmes have come to a halt.

The European Commission has now published guidance on the position of Switzerland regarding participation in Horizon 2020 and Erasmus +. Switzerland will be considered a non-associated country and Swiss participation will be in accordance with the rules governing third country entities, at least for 2014.
