Senior Policy Lead - Pensions

​Mary is Senior Policy Lead on Pensions and Infrastructure at Universities UK (UUK). Her role focus​es on the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) representing the employers in that scheme whilst also considering wider pensions policy developments for the higher education sector. Other key projects include the Rating Revaluation for the sector, the UUK/Guild HE Accommodation Code of Practice and the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP).

Prior to joining us Mary worked for the Local Government Association (LGA) as a Policy Advisor for the LGPS focusing on technical, communication and governance issues in that scheme. Mary started her career in the Cheshire Pension Fund having almost a decade of experience in administrative, communication and governance based ​roles for that Pension Fund.

Mary graduated with a degree ​in Public Administration from the University of Limerick.
