​Martina is a Policy Analyst, who looks after Universities UK's evidence base on research and postgraduate research training policy;  innovation and growth; and funding and sustainability.

Before joining us in August 2013, Martina held various positions in international relations, digital policies and economic development and labour market analysis in a number of EU institutions and policy research, consultancy and advocacy organisations in Brussels and London. 

Martina holds a BSc in International Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, and an MSc in Public Services Policy and Management from King's College London, where she is also studying, part-time, on a PhD project. This is focussing on the dynamics of business-university cooperation on basic research and development programmes.
