Transnational Education - Policy Lead

Leo is the Policy Lead on the HEGlobal team, leading on statistical, policy and activity tracking and analysis. He also supports the team in identifying examples of good practice and engaging with sector and international stakeholders to understand relevant opportunities and challenges for UK HE TNE. 

Leo joined UUKi in 2013 as the Asia Policy Lead and was later the Policy Researcher on the Go International team. Prior to joining UUKi, Leo managed a youth leadership programme for an interfaith charity after completing his term as President of the University of Warwick Students' Union. He has held board and committee positions in NUS, the International Council for Christians and Jews Youth Leadership Council and in NCUB's 50 Under 30 Network.    

Leo is a Politics and International Studies graduate from the University of Warwick and is currently completing an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree in Education Policies for Global Development with a research focus on refugee education at the Universities of Oslo and Amsterdam, as well as the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
