​ Jessica Pugh is responsible for the finance function at Universities UK, covering both the business-facing side of finance (budgeting, management reporting, business partnering) and the back-office function (statutory compliance, including tax, payroll, pensions, sales and purchases).
 
Jessica is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualified accountant and not-for-profit specialist. She has worked in charity finance functions for 13 years, trained as an accountant with a not-for-profit specialised audit firm, and holds the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting qualification. 

She studied mathematics at the University of Sheffield.
