Student satisfaction
- In a huge survey of more than 220,000 final year students, 81% said that they were very satisfied or satisfied with their course (National Student Survey, August 2009)
- The vast majority of students, 85%, rated the quality of the teaching and learning experience as 'good' or 'excellent'. NUS, November 2008 (opens in new window)
- The majority of students, 75%, believed that the number of contact hours they received was sufficient. NUS, November 2008 (opens in new window)
- The proportion of students stating that their experience has been better than expected (28%) was more than three times the proportion stating that it has been worse (9%). The same survey also showed that the majority of students did not disagree with the statement "I am satisfied with the number of time-tabled classes I have had during this term".
