The main attendees are the members of Universities UK, the heads of the UK’s higher education institutions, or their nominated representative, for example Pro Vice-Chancellors.

Other invited guests include senior government officials and opposition party MPs, UK funding bodies and key stakeholders from the higher education sector, as well as representatives from the higher education mission groups (Russell Group, Million+, 1994 Group, University Alliance).
